A well-hung feature wall can change how a whole room feels, and a messy one is hard to ignore.
Wallpaper is tricky to get right, and a bad install is expensive to fix. So I compared each installer’s materials, range of services and flexibility.
Below are the best wallpaper installation services in London for homes and commercial spaces.
If you’re planning a bigger refresh, renovation contractors in London can help with the rest of the job.

The London Wallpapering delivers tailored solutions using premium materials. They handle everything from luxurious prints to custom designs, so you can match the paper to your exact vision.
Their detailed prep work suits both a tired room and a large commercial renovation.
They also remove and repair existing wall coverings, which helps if your walls need extra care.
That care carries into their quality checks. I find those checks reassuring, especially for landlords who want pristine rental units.
However, if you live on the outer edges of the city, you might face longer travel times to get them on site. It’s worth checking their availability for your area before you book.
It looks so much better now
We had a real mess in our hallway in W6 after trying to strip the old layers myself. The London wallpapering came in and sorted everything out. They fixed the walls and put up a new pattern perfectly. It looks so much better now and the relief of having it done properly is huge .

3. Papersmith Wall Covering
Website: https://www.papersmithwalls.com/
Service Area: Kent, London and beyond
Contact: 07931 666573
Hours: Available 24 hours
Papersmith Wall Covering handles luxury residential and commercial projects for leading designers and stylists. Jobs range from a few hours of work to setups that span several months.
Their fair pricing covers all labour and materials except the paper itself. They regularly partner with brands like Cole & Sons and Graham & Brown.
Their portfolio includes Kensington Palace and several national embassies, which points to the skill needed for a striking feature wall in your own home.
On the downside, residential customers often have to compete for slots with larger commercial clients. That can make it harder to book a smaller home project.
Christian is superb at his job
Christian is superb at his job. So professional and the wallpapering he does is to such a high standard, that our guests think it’s a painted mural! Highly recommend. Affordable too. Will be using his services again and have recommended to neighbours, friends and family.

Will definitely be using his services again
An absolute pleasure to work with. Christian communicated really well from the outset and was very accommodating to our needs, as it was a tricky task cutting around a fireplace with a limited supply of hand printed wallpaper. He turned up bang on time, worked very promptly, was informative about the process. A very charming friendly person to meet. Will definitely be using his services again.

A friend of mine recently hired them to install delicate silk wallpaper, and the attention to detail was stunning.
That skill extends to a wide variety of wallcoverings, from grasscloth and bamboo to digitally printed murals.
They also work alongside leading luxury brands to create bespoke spaces, which suits clients who want something custom.
However, residential clients may compete for booking slots with major commercial accounts.
You could also face longer travel times if your property is in the southeast of the city.

quite simply the highest standard of wallpapering I have ever seen.
Nayden at BlueSpec is a true craftsman—quite simply the highest standard of wallpapering I have ever seen. During our recent house renovation, he wallpapered several rooms using extra-wide rolls that require real specialist skill, and the results are absolutely beautiful. What impressed us even more was his ability to deliver such exceptional work under challenging conditions.

Max is the best. Booked us in very quickly. No fuss, excellent attention to detail and very clean and tidy. Two very different wallpapers in two very different rooms and they’re both perfect. He even came back the day after he’d finished to doublecheck it was perfect. If you want someone to do a brilliant job I would 100% recommend Max.
