The 5 Best Mental Health Clinics in London for When Life Gets a Bit Too Extra

  • Clinician Credentials: We checked that all medical teams hold active registrations with relevant regulatory boards. This step ensures you receive safe, legal, and evidence-based clinical guidance.

  • Range of Treatments: We evaluated clinics offering a range of options, including talk therapy and medication management. Having multiple treatment paths helps patients find what works best for their symptoms.

  • Flexible Access: We looked for clinics providing both in-person consultations and secure video sessions. Flexible scheduling helps busy professionals and students fit care into their work or study schedules.

  • Clear Policies: We assessed each provider's scheduling terms and fee transparency. Upfront policies prevent unexpected costs and make booking appointments much easier.

Life gets heavy, and navigating stress or burnout alone is tough; taking the first step to seek help is a massive achievement. Some people even turn to psychologists or experienced psychotherapists when they need extra support in finding balance.

Still, finding the best mental health clinic in London can feel overwhelming when you just want someone to talk to. To help, we’ve listed the top clinics across the city that support busy professionals, students, and families with practical treatments.

The whole experience with the clinic was excellent

I had a very positive experience with my ADHD assessment. Dr Sijjad Ijaz was very welcoming, supportive, and professional throughout the entire process. He asked all the right questions, made me feel completely comfortable, and took the time to go into detail during the assessment.

I was also very impressed with how quickly the report was completed and provided within a week. The whole experience with the clinic was excellent, and I’m extremely satisfied with the care and service I received.

I highly recommend this clinic and Dr Sijjad Ijaz to anyone considering an ADHD assessment. Absolutely 5-star service!

Professional and understanding from start to finish

This clinic has been professional and understanding from start to finish. My titration appointment with Adil Yousaf couldn’t have gone any more smoothly. He had already taken the time to review my information thoroughly and understood exactly what I wanted before I even had to explain my thoughts. I’d highly recommend Harley Street Mental Health. They’ve made a complex, stressful and potentially incredibly long process into a manageable, helpful and ultimately fast outcome.

Dr Ashby has been very helpful and always makes herself available

I have been impressed with this clinic!  Dr Ashby has been very helpful and always makes herself available to help when needed.  Moving to London I was a little concerned about finding a good psychiatrist, and I am very happy I found Dr. Ashby!

Incredibly grateful for the care and support we have received

We are incredibly grateful for the care and support we have received from Dr.Loi throughout a very challenging time. From the very first appointment, we felt listened to, understood and genuinely cared for.

What really sets this clinic apart is the willingness to go above and beyond. Whether it was providing additional support, writing letters to assist with ongoing care, or responding promptly to emails whenever we needed guidance, nothing ever feels like too much trouble.

Navigating mental health services can be extremely overwhelming, but having such a compassionate team supporting us has made an enormous difference.

Today, I am in a much better mental health state

I have found the clinic while searching on the web so I think it is fair to write here to give back to whoever wrote feedback about them before. I couldn’t be happier with the results I got after I started my treatment from depression, which also unveiled other issues. Today, I am in a much better mental health state thanks to the team and the reception is super kind and helpful, following up and being very private about everything. Now that I moved away from the region, I continue having my sessions via their online tools.

Dr Patel and the reception team always give me a sense of confidence

I am so grateful for the prompt, responsive, intelligent and compassionate care of the entire team at the Blue Tree Clinic. Dr Patel and the reception team always give me a sense of confidence and support that I have not found elsewhere in the UK.They are particularly fantastic with the treatment and care of ADHD and offering a sensitive and thorough service with remote appointments if needed in addition.

Customer Reviews

I recommend Dr Zamar and the clinic

I have been a patient of the London Psychiatry Centre for over two and a half years, and in that time, the doctors and mental health practitioners have made an enormous difference in my life. Dr Zamar’s rTMS and HDL protocol have worked as promised, giving me complete remission and no side effects, two things previous treatments from other ‘professionals’ did not yield. He and his team have achieved what no other doctors could for myself and hundreds of other patients. I recommend Dr Zamar and the clinic to anyone in need of complex mental health treatment.

I am now in a place where I can cope and deal with the ongoing issues

When I first came to the clinic I had severe depression, severe PTSD and anxiety. The PTSD was in relation to an ongoing situation, so I was drowning and unable to cope. I had rTMS for treatment and my mental health has vastly improved. I am now in a place where I can cope and deal with the ongoing issues.

I saw Dr Zamar and Dr Klimowitz and felt they were both really invested in my recovery, as were the nurses that helped deliver the treatment.
