Address: 48 Clacton Rd
Contact: +44 7310 056848

Lika Brickworks Ltd brings two decades of expertise to London’s unique architecture. They use an established company structure where professional project managers oversee your dream build from start to finish.
Their specialists assess structural needs and apply traditional repointing techniques to halt decay. You can also count on them for bespoke house extensions that blend perfectly with your existing home.
Another good part is that they work directly with structural engineers to ensure thermal efficiency and aesthetic harmony.
Actually, we spoke to a neighbour who recently hired them for a garden wall, and he couldn’t stop raving about the hand-picked premium bricks used.
However, the team is focused on providing bespoke and luxurious service, which deters customers who want simple bricklaying.

Already booked him in for my side infill extension
After spending weeks looking and constantly being turned down for a bricklayer to brick up my chimney flues in a bowing wall Klodian stepped in and saved the day. He was reasonably priced, professional, friendly, tidy and his knowledge and workmanship is excellent. I would highly reccomend, I’ve already booked him in for my side infill extension in a few months.

LNK Brickwork London excels as a specialist contractor by focusing heavily on lime brickwork pointing and intricate garden walls. Founded by a dedicated local bricklayer, they merge traditional craftsmanship with highly disciplined modern site management.
They do a fantastic job matching brick types and mortar colours so the new work perfectly complements your original building.

A downside is that they’re not focused solely on residential services. Because they cover a massive service area, you might experience slight scheduling delays during peak construction seasons.

3. K Barnard Brickwork

K Barnard Brickwork is a family-run business that has honed their specialised skills for over 37 years. They investigate deep-rooted damp issues caused by failed pointing and unsuitable cement repairs.
Last month, we had them look at a damp spot near my foundation, and their clear advice saved me from an expensive misdiagnosis.
We also noticed they always do things by the book, sourcing original stone to match your home and using proper breathable lime mortars. Plus, they handle everything from safe paint removal to complex heritage restoration across the city.
That said, their strong focus leans heavily toward restoration rather than creating entirely new builds. This broad reach across the city can sometimes lead to scheduling delays when their main crew gets busy.

We would recommend them to any family and friends
We are so happy with the work Keith, Ben and their team did repointing the back of our house (see before and after photos!) and the masonry repair works to our window sills. The standard of work is first class, all carried out within the timeframe and quote and they were a lovely team. We would recommend them to any family and friends and will be using them again for further work in the future. Thanks so much again!

Lots of experience in traditional brickwork restoration
A very friendly two-generation company with lots of experience in traditional brickwork restoration. We would have them back all over again, but the quality of their work makes that unnecessary. A very competent and trustworthy team who kept the site clean and as dust free as possible and always washed the area down at the end of every day.

Address: 22 Winslow Grove
Contact: 07973 688313 | [email protected]

Ossie’s Brickwork combines core bricklaying with partnered trades to deliver comprehensive construction and restoration projects. Established back in 1989, they offer unmatched experience for loft conversions and large outhouse constructions.
They work closely with contracted tilers and architects so you don’t have to manage multiple companies.
If you’re doing a full home overhaul, they coordinate smoothly alongside emergency plumbers for your interior needs. You can also hire them to lay driveways or complete major landscaping tasks.
Keep in mind that they’re not strictly specialised in fine masonry alone. Since not all services come from their in-house team, you might deal with different subcontractors.

Five stars!
