1. Regain Hearing – Eltham
Website: https://www.regainhearing.co.uk/
Address: 201 Eltham High Street, Eltham
Contact: 0800 028 6763
Hours: Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM-5:30 PM; Saturday: 9:00 AM-5:30 PM (alternate Saturdays)
Regain Hearing – Eltham provides non-invasive hearing assessments and gentle earwax treatments for blocked ears or hearing concerns. They help patients understand the cause of symptoms and receive care with minimal discomfort.
Their dispensers conduct thorough examinations that feature video otoscopy and speech mapping to isolate the root cause of hearing loss.
They also perform word list tests and use a hearing loss simulator to help family members understand what you’re experiencing.
You can even pick up general ear care supplies, replacement domes, wax guards, and spare batteries directly in the clinic.
The drawback is that Saturday appointments take place only on alternate weekends, which requires extra planning.

2. Hearology Liverpool Street
Website: https://hearologyliverpoolstreet.uk/
Address: 46 New Broad Street
Contact: 020 3747 4615
Hours: Monday-Friday: 9:30 AM-5:30 PM
Hearology Liverpool Street is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), providing patients with added reassurance about their clinical standards.
We love that every ear cleaning procedure here relies on a surgical microscope to give clinicians clear depth-of-field vision inside the ear canal.
When we spoke to their audiologist about eardrum function, they explained how their baseline test includes tympanometry to guide precise hearing aid tuning.
They also stock rechargeable and colourful devices from major brands and established ear wax removal clinics across the city, giving patients plenty of options for their hearing aids.
However, this centre remains closed on weekends, which makes scheduling tricky.

3. Nathan Gluck Hearing Care
Website: https://nathangluckhearingcare.co.uk/
Address: 20 Wentworth Road, Golders Green
Contact: 020 8455 4210
Hours: Sunday-Thursday: 8:00 AM-8:00 PM; Friday: 8:00 AM-3:00 PM
Nathan Gluck Hearing Care offers appointments until 8:00 PM and on Sundays. These extended hours allow patients to arrange hearing tests and consultations without having to take time off during the working day.
As an independent practice, they source devices from major manufacturers like Phonak and Oticon without restricting you to a single brand. This gives patients a wider choice of hearing aids.
On top of that, their team performs industrial hearing tests to help protect workplace health alongside low-pressure microsuction earwax removal. They also provide on-site hearing aid repairs and replacement wax guards for quick maintenance.
The main drawback is that they’re closed on Saturdays.

A highly recommended audiology practice
Excellent, helpful, friendly and professional service. From booking the appointment to enabling access for my relative who currenlty has severe walking difficulties and is in a wheelchair, the helpful service was much appreciated. During the appointment Mr Gluck was particularly attentive with what may be described as an unusually challenging patient. He successfully removed a particularly hard piece of wax from their ear. A highly recommended audiology practice.

Hearing fully and painlessly restored
Nathan was recommended to me by my GP practice in Hampstead as I had experienced almost complete hearing loss in one ear. I have no hesitation in endorsing that recommendation. Nathan’s receptionist was extremely helpful and booked me in on the same day, and Nathan put me at my ease and ensured I was comfortable whilst he dealt with some stubborn wax which was obscuring my eardrum. Hearing fully and painlessly restored.

4. Harley Street Hearing
Website: https://harleysthearing.co.uk/
Address: 2 Harley Street; 127 Harley Street
Contact: 020 7486 1053
Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM-5:30 PM
The specialists at Harley Street Hearing have spent over 25 years working with performers from the Royal Opera House and studio DJs. That deep industry experience makes them a prime destination for bespoke hearing protection in Central London.
Partnering with organisations like the Musicians’ Union, they fit custom filters designed to preserve sound clarity while shielding your ears.
A musician friend tried their specialised Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) testing, which uses speech-processing evaluations to measure active listening skills. This assessment can help identify difficulties with how the brain processes speech.
The catch is that weekend bookings are unavailable and navigating multiple Harley Street addresses can cause confusion.

5. Pindrop Hearing – Harley Street
Website: https://www.pindrophearing.co.uk/
Address: 41 Harley Street
Contact: 0203 514 7474
Hours: Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM-5:30 PM
Pindrop Hearing maintains CQC regulation and employs degree-qualified audiologists. Despite those credentials, their warm atmosphere helps settle nervous patients right from the moment they step through the door.
The audiologists here specialise in fitting Lyric devices, which are completely invisible extended-wear hearing aids worn continuously for up to three months.
They also feature dedicated paediatric audiology for children alongside advanced microsuction and vestibular balance testing. Each evaluation is tailored carefully to suit younger listeners or adults seeking hassle-free extended hearing solutions.
That said, digital hearing aids can take 7 to 10 days to arrive following initial consultation. This may be inconvenient for patients who need the device urgently.
