The 5 Best Allergy Clinics in London to Finally Get Relief from Sneezing and Sniffling

Diagnostic Range: Basic skin tests don’t always catch complex triggers, so you need a doctor with access to broader screening tools. We checked whether each centre offers advanced blood panels and patch testing.

Specialist Credentials: Misdiagnosed food reactions can be dangerous, especially for young patients starting solid meals. We verified that the lead doctors hold substantial clinical experience and proper medical registrations.

Appointment Availability: We looked at operating hours, weekend access, and telemedicine options to see who gets patients in quickly. You shouldn’t have to wait weeks for help if you’re paying out of pocket.

Treatment Options: We evaluated whether the practice offers ongoing management plans like supervised food challenges or immunotherapy. A range of diagnostic tools and ongoing therapies can provide long-term relief.

It’s not easy to live with allergies, especially when they’re triggered by things you can’t see. Some people live without symptoms until their body starts reacting differently as they age.

It’s time we stop guessing and give our immune system a break. We gathered the best allergy clinics in London so you can receive a fast private test, rather than wait months for public health referrals.

If you’re tired of mystery symptoms, these medical laboratories can help identify what makes your body overreact. Let’s not waste a minute and read on!

Hours: Tuesday to Wednesday, 8:30 AM to 1:30 PM (telemedicine available daily)

London Allergy and Immunology Centre stands out for offering same-day consultations for patients who register and call ahead. This rapid access is a huge relief for anyone bypassing NHS wait lists to get immediate answers.

Plus, they offer at-home testing in the UK, where they’ll deliver a kit and you send it back to their laboratory. The best part is that this is as comprehensive as in-clinic assessment.

Their diagnostic toolkit is highly varied, offering more than 600 allergen tests. They handle everything from common hay fever to complex skin presentations for adults, children, and babies.

Rather than relying on one basic screening, the consultant-led team uses advanced component-resolved diagnostics like ALEX³ alongside conventional skin-prick options.

Since they’re recognised by several major health insurers, most individuals can access their services.

The catch is their strict cancellation policy, which charges a £300 fee if you miss an appointment.

Game changer for my lifestyle

…The treatment plan provided clear details of my allergies and has already made a noticeable difference. I feel far more confident managing my allergies now. Over the years I have seen several Allergy Specialists who did not identify the root causes of my rashes and pain. The consultation with Professor Rudenko has been a game changer for my lifestyle.

Overall, Professor Redunko and his Team are knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely committed to helping their patients. I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking specialist allergy care.

Expert in his field

…for sudden onset of extremely uncomfortable itching on the skin. Professor Rudenko is extremely professional and tried to get to the root of the problem and not just treating the symptoms. I have just started taking the medication but I have every confidence in his expertise and am sure that my symptoms will ease in due course. He takes his time to understand concerns and is very patient while explaining each and every test result against the normal range and is an expert in his field. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a specialist in allergy and immunology.

Incredibly patient, kind, and caring throughout the whole process
Dr Bakshi has been absolutely wonderful in helping my daughter with her allergies. He carried out a thorough allergy test and took the time to explain everything clearly. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him — he was incredibly patient, kind, and caring throughout the whole process. His knowledge and expertise really put us at ease, and we are extremely grateful for the care and support he’s given our daughter. I would highly recommend Dr Bakshi.

Absolutely outstanding care from Dr Bakshi
I attended the British Allergy Clinic and had absolutely outstanding care from Dr Bakshi, with targeted immunotherapy for my long-term allergy to grass pollen, which has been resistant to antihistamines. Dr Bakshi also took time to explain in detail my condition, and the way immunotherapy can help. I look forward to a future with reduced allergy symptoms which will greatly increase my quality of life in the summer. The Clinic’s communications, from Rahul the practice manager, were also excellent. I recommend 100%!

The clinic can even test for 300 allergens using one blood sample, from dust mites to venom to medication.

Accessibility-wise, they’re solid for their free 10-minute phone consultation. To top it off, they have three clinics in London.

Just know that adult asthma and eczema fall outside their stated scope, so patients with those specific issues should look elsewhere.

Very professional and efficient
I needed an appointment for my 13 year old son at very short notice before he travelled abroad with his sports team. Daniel arranged an appointment with Dr. Tammy Rothenberg in which skin prick tests were carried out and a plan for allergy management was discussed and drawn up. The process was very professional and efficient. I was very pleased with the service that we had at the allergy clinic as well as the communications both before and after the appointment.

Put our minds at ease
We really appreciate the outstanding service from Dr. Rothenburg and Daniel. They were both incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring throughout the process.

Our son’s allergy testing had been a significant source of stress for us, but they took the time to explain everything clearly, answer all of our questions, and put our minds at ease. We left feeling far more confident and optimistic about managing our son’s allergies moving forward.

Thank you both for your care, compassion, and expertise. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The team works with lots of allergens, including food, eczema, asthma, and anaphylaxis for all age groups. They offer supervised dose escalation for allergens like milk and sesame, carefully monitoring patients as their tolerance builds.

World leaders in this space
I was really impressed with the facilities and how quickly we got an appointment after my 6 month old had an allergic reaction to yoghurt (dairy). The service is very smooth, with skin prick testing first then a consultation. Gideon and the team are world leaders in this space and I felt at ease knowing that we have a management plan for my baby’s allergy. I would highly recommend this service if your child has an allergy. You will come away feeling more confident in weaning going forward.

Explains everything clearly and scientifically
Very good experience with Professor Lack and the allergy team. Warm, thoughtful, and highly professional treatment throughout. Professor Lack explains everything clearly and scientifically, but also with great humour, which makes patients feel very comfortable and reassured. You can tell he genuinely cares about allergy prevention and patient wellbeing. Highly recommended for allergy patients.

It is the place to go
It took some time of navigating the medical landscape before finding Professor Adam Fox and it was like a breath of fresh air in terms of expertise and knowledge. He listens, is kind, excellent with children and makes you feel reassured. Allergy London in its entirety is well managed and the staff there couldnt be more helpful or supportive. If you have a child with allergy based challenges it is the place to go.

All the testing was done on site, there and then
Such a positive experience at the allergy clinic with Professor Adam Fox. He’s clearly incredibly knowledgeable, but so down to earth, with absolutely no airs and graces. He’s easy to talk to and explains everything in a way that’s clear and easy to understand.

All the testing was done on site, there and then, which made the whole process so straightforward. We left feeling informed, reassured and excited to start treatment. Highly recommend!
