YouStock eliminates the heavy lifting by offering a direct collection service in London. Another handy feature is that someone else can do the driving and packing.

They elevate the service with a slick digital inventory system so you can track your belongings remotely, at any hour of the day.

We recently spoke to a friend who used them during a basement renovation, and she absolutely loved being able to manage her stored items right from her phone without ever needing to visit the facility.

Plus, the units are kept in optimal conditions to protect sensitive items from moisture and temperature drops.

The only downside is that their customer support team takes Sundays off, so you have to plan any urgent queries around the workweek.

Pros

  • Free collection across London
  • 24/7 access to digital inventory
  • Climate-controlled environments
  • Packing and transport offered

Cons

  • Customer support closed on Sundays

Good experience

Great service all around. The team arrived on time and I was notified of the time slot first thing in the morning. In the confirmation email it said I’d be notified the day before, that would be my only comment. The collection process was smooth and I was immediately notified of a change in storage size as I’d underestimated how much stuff I had, and asked wether I’d be ok to proceed. Served by: Pawan Alex, Yellow team.

I’d definitely reach out to them again for any future moves!

Soni and Luca helped me with my move, and they were amazing! I used the packing service along with transport and storage, and the whole process was super easy. They were both so helpful, efficient, and made everything much less stressful. The pricing was reasonable too. I’d definitely reach out to them again for any future moves!

Safestore steps up by providing a wide variety of unit sizes. Because of this, they’re able to provide a flexible space for personal and business needs.

Their setup is also incredibly straightforward, allowing you to quickly adjust your rented space as your storage needs change over time.

They even provide complimentary trolleys and pallet trucks to make your move-in day much smoother.

Another feature we like is their comprehensive security monitoring to keep your mind completely at ease.

Their King’s Cross location is easily accessible. But you should keep in mind that on-street parking along Pentonville Road is notoriously difficult due to strict resident restrictions.

  • Easy-to-adjust storage options
  • Comprehensive security monitoring
  • Free use of trolleys and pallet trucks

Cons

Smooth, stress-free

I’ve had a fantastic experience with this storage place. The units are spotless and well maintained, and the staff are consistently friendly and accommodating. Access is smooth and stress free every time. Couldn’t ask for better service!

10 stars

I cannot recommend this storage company and its people highly enough! The kindest, most helpful guys, Ryan and Conor, made my move from a two-bed flat into storage a smooth journey!

They supplied boxes and wrapping; even have a moving company on hand I’ll use next time I need a new unit. Very clean, fully insulated, and safe facilities.

I just moved out again and all my clothing, furniture are in perfect condition. 10 stars for excellent customer service & stellar facilities in the most central location in London.⭐️ And still reasonably priced! Thank you, Vanguard Storage. I’ll be back!

One of our colleagues booked a temporary locker here during a move. She was genuinely impressed by the solar panels and the vibrant green roof on the property.

Navigating the whole building is also a breeze because of their smart mobile application that lets you open doors without ever fumbling for physical keys.

This modern facility also combines convenience and strong security. Their space features individually alarmed units, complimentary Wi-Fi, and 24-hour CCTV monitoring.

Plus, they have specialised wine cellars for collectors needing precise temperature control.

However, their location may make parking and access for larger vehicles more challenging during busy periods.

Great customer service

Amazing service! Roger was not only informative but also incredibly helpful while assisting me in setting up my lock. He took the time to show me what the storage units looked like and made sure I was comfortable with everything. I really appreciated his patience and great customer service.

Very happy with the experience

The whole process with Yellow Storage was clear and fast from start to finish. The manager, Shaz, was extremely helpful and made everything easy to understand and complete. Thanks to his support, I was able to go through everything smoothly and I’m now the owner of the storage unit. Very happy with the experience — thank you very much!

Customer Reviews

Highly recommend

I rented a storage unit at Selfstore London for two months and was very impressed. The pricing was excellent, with extra discounts for new customers, including on the deposit. The space perfectly accommodated my belongings, and when I returned after two months, everything was in exactly the same condition as when I stored it. The facility is clean, secure, and well-maintained. Paul, the manager, was extremely helpful and friendly, always ready to answer questions and provide guidance. Highly recommend for both personal and business storage needs.

Friendly, helpful

I rented a unit here for about 7 years, and have only good things to say about the space, the location, and above all the service. Paul, who manages the facility is absolutely brilliant. Friendly, helpful and  just a great person. I’m sorry to say goodbye as I move the last of my belongings out of the UK, but would absolutely recommend Selfstore to anyone looking for secure central storage.
