I’ve been invited to a rather posh wedding venue, so naturally I’d like my brows and lips to look polished before I’ve even touched my makeup bag. That sent me hunting for the best permanent makeup in London without ending up looking permanently surprised.
Of course, letting someone work that close to your eyes and lips isn’t something you book on a whim. I wanted skilled artists, natural-looking results, and studios that take hygiene and consultations seriously.
So, I sifted through London’s permanent makeup scene with the big day firmly in mind. These are the places I’d consider when effortless beauty needs to survive champagne, photographs, and a very long reception.
How much does permanent makeup cost in London?
Permanent makeup in London usually costs around £250 to £600 at mid-range clinics. High-end Central London studios can charge £995 or more for specialist treatments.
Prices vary depending on the artist’s experience and the technique used. Central London clinics generally sit at the pricier end of the scale.
Check whether your quote includes the initial consultation and top-up appointment. Some studios charge separately for colour refreshes or additional sessions.

The downside is the cancellation policy, which is pretty unforgiving if your plans suddenly change. Cancel within 48 hours, and you could be charged the full treatment price.

Natural Brows and a Relaxed Experience
I had my first even PMU brows today with Miri. I am so happy with them. Miri was so patient and kind whilst we were designing the shape. I like that the South Woodford clinic focuses squarely on permanent cosmetics rather than treating them as a side service.
Their microblading is done manually with a disposable blade, which gives the treatment a very traditional, precision-led feel.
If you’re after natural-looking brows without wandering into an everything-under-one-roof beauty salon, this specialist setup has real appeal.
The main catch is the booking policy, which needs a bit of diary discipline. Cancel or reschedule with less than seven days’ notice, and you can lose your booking fee.
There may be an extra £50 charge for late cancellations or no-shows too. That’s enough to make me triple-check the calendar before confirming anything!

That gives the Chiswick clinic a reassuringly seasoned feel. I like that they go beyond standard brows and lips with treatments such as vitiligo re-pigmentation and scar camouflage.
Their 3D brow work is designed to blend with your natural shape, while Biotek pigments and sterile CE-class needles support a more specialist setup.
The catch is the booking policy, which isn’t especially forgiving. Consultations are non-refundable, and late treatment cancellations can cost up to 75% of the full price.
Weekends and bank holidays need even more notice at 96 hours. I’d definitely check my diary twice before paying anything.
Finally, Brows I Can Be Proud Of
I had an appointment at Natural Enhancement over the weekend to have my very sparse – to the point of non-existent – brows replenished with a semi-permanent tattoo. Carina is lovely and Evie, who undertook my treatment, is very calm, competent and clearly very creative. I am now the proud wearer of 2 very handsome brows, its early days and I’m aware that the colour may fade and the outline not be a pronounced as it currently is but I’m looking forward to stamping these brows as far as it is possible in the top up treatment within the next couple of months.

The catch is that you’ll need to bring your own numbing cream if you want it. Deposits are non-refundable, and late changes can trigger a fee of up to 50% of the treatment price.
Freckles and beauty spots come with another consideration too. The clinic advises against facial laser treatments afterwards.

After some research, I decided to contact Annette for my semi-permanent make-up. I am so glad I did. I opted for winged eyeliner and lips to be done. Annette is very reassuring and informative throughout the process and always replies promptly when contacted. She Made Me Feel Completely at Ease
